I haven't shown many people this video, but I have thought about sharing it for awhile. I was hesitant to do so for a number of reasons, but I have decided I want you to see what God can do and that God still performs miracles. This is me receiving therapy at the Rehab Institute of Chicago about ten days after a car accident where I nearly lost my life and suffered a severe traumatic brain injury.

I have thought a lot about the power of a story and I wanted to share this thought as well. We all have difficulties. Some are big. Some are small. Some are self-inflicted. Some are caused by others. Some are common. Some are unique. And because of that, whether we know it or not, we all have a story to tell. I have been hesitant to share my story up to this point. I believe that is mainly because of embarrassment. Not embarrassment over my traumatic brain injury, but over the fact that it took a TBI for me to recognize so many amazing truths about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and to learn that even before my brain injury, I already had a story to tell.

I sincerely hope you understand the main point of my story isn’t me. It isn’t even my TBI. I hope you see the main point is Jesus, how much He loves you, and what He wants to do in you and for you no matter what you may be facing.
