"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives."

Genesis 50:20

Twenty-sixteen has been a year of change for the Huxford family.

Twelve months ago we vacationed in Nashville.  We didn’t say it to each other at the time, but Jacqui and I both got the feeling that we would someday live there.

Little did we know, this would come to fruition in less than a year.  In January of 2016, I was forced to retire from family medicine due to complications from my traumatic brain injury.  I wasn’t sure what was next for us.  But for the next several months, God began opening doors, and these doors eventually led us to Franklin, TN.

The move has been an adjustment for all of us, but God has remained by our side.  As we continue trying to find and live our "new normal" in Franklin, we are excited to see what God has in store!  And we pray that we are obedient to whatever He calls us to do!

Happy New Years to everyone and I hope you come into 2017 full of hope and promise!  Thank you for supporting my family and I throughout this transition and for your overwhelming support of my blog!  As I go into the new year, I am looking forward to seeing how God uses Finding Normal!  God bless you all/y'all!
