Jason Romano worked as a talent producer and social media manager at ESPN for 16 years. You might remember him from, among other things, The Mike and Mike Show. Jason recently left the sports company to go into full-time ministry — a decision he made after feeling “God nudging” him to “step out in faith.” He has since started his own media consulting business to help churches, athletes and other companies with their social and digital media and is also hosting a new faith and sports podcast called the Sports Spectrum. In addition to all of this, Romano is now a published author and his debut book, Live to Forgive: Moving Forward When Those We Love Hurt Us, is currently available for pre-order on Amazon and is scheduled to be released on January 15, 2018.
I was fortunate to be on the launch team for Live to Forgive which "walks readers through his personal journey of forgiving his alcoholic father." Although we may not all have the same story as Jason, we have all dealt with the challenge of both giving and learning to accept forgiveness and I am confident that after reading Jason's story, you, too, will understand that it really is "the only route to freedom and peace." I was able to learn so much from the book about the beauty of learning this very important and necessary practice.
So be sure to preorder your very own copy of Live to Forgive on Amazon today!
